Mary Williams was a public member on the Investigative Committee. She was appointed in September 2012 and was reappointed during the August 17, 2016 Board Meeting.
Williams is mentioned in the Fall 2012 edition of the vet board's newsletter, The Scratching Post. In the "Investigative Committee News" we learn that she was appointed as a public member to replace the outgoing Terry Horrall. Williams is said to be a retired senior vice president in the insurance industry who also has significant ties to the cattle industry. We're told her new role on the Investigative Committee is just one of her many (unnamed) volunteer activities. Unfortunately, that's all we know. If you have any tips, contact us.
Note that while you're reading through veterinary board documents, especially complaints, you'll also find references to a Mary Williams that's an Assistant Attorney General. That's a different Mary Williams that often shows up as an Assistant Attorney General for various state boards. (If you're looking for the time that an Assistant Attorney General for the vet board ended up on the vet board, you're looking for Janet Napolitano public appointee M. Elizabeth Miles.)
